Your studentlife is not only about your studies, there is so much more to take part in. During an intense study period it is nice to be able to think about something besides your studies for a while. Maybe meet other people that share a common interest?
In the Student Unions societies you find just that – other students that share the same interests as you, regardless of your interest is broadcasting radio or tv, stand on a stage, watch movies or take part in physical activities.
I many cases it is completely free of charge to take part in our societies activities, in other cases you pay a small fee per semester to cover the costs of that society.
